Our bodies change our mind.

Our minds change our behavior.

Our behaviors change our outcome.

                                                                          -Amy Cuddy

I didn't notice this until V sent me a video.

It's a video called Your body language may shape who you are.

About different posture between powerless people and powerful people would cause which kinds of results in testosterone and cortisol.

Scientists put them into a lab and tested their saliva.

They made them do two kinds of posture for two minutes. One was powerless postures, the other was powerful postures.

Later, they would gamble and would test saliva again.

The powerful group ended up winning in the gamble. Their testosterone was high and cortisol was low. Cortisol is a kind of enzyme to fight against stress.

I watched this kind of video before.

This time I watched it over and over because I was about to have an interview.

I was really too nervous.

After I watched it, I went into V's office and made a powerful posture, just like Wonder Woman.

She laughed.

I thought about this for a long time.

I wouldn't know how others think about you until they told you.

I kept doing some powerless posture, making me feel unconfident.

You're not really that unconfident!

Maybe it was because your posture changed your mind.

I loved this sentence in the video.

Don't fake it till you make it.

Fake it till you become it.

That means to improve and get the confidence to make us succeed.

It's not about you talking to other people.

It's you talking to yourself.

I did a powerful posture for two minutes before I came to interview.

I didn't know why, but I felt calm.

I was admitted finally!

You can do it!

Try to do powerful postures before you have an interview next time!

What I learned from this class -try a power pose.
